BIOGRAPHY
Dave Lasman has been a fixture in the Florida music scene for decades, bringing a lifetime of experience rooted in blues, classic rock, and the unmistakable melodic style of Dickey Betts.
After beginning his musical journey in the Chicago area and later refining his craft in Gainesville and South Florida, Dave built a reputation as an accomplished guitarist, vocalist, recording artist, and performer.
An avid fan of the Allman Brothers Band from an early age, Dave’s playing reflects the tasteful phrasing, harmony, and expressive soloing that defined Dickey Betts’ legendary style. Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with members of the Allman Brothers Band, Blackfoot, Molly Hatchet, The Dixie Allstars, Bo Diddley, and other respected musicians.
Today, Dave brings that passion and musicianship to Brothers After All, helping recreate the music and spirit that audiences have loved for generations.

My approach to guitar is centered around tone, feel, and musical communication. The equipment I choose helps me create the expressive sounds needed to honor the Allman Brothers catalog while bringing my own energy and interpretation to each performance.
My guitars, amplification, effects, and vocal equipment are chosen for their reliability, versatility, and ability to deliver consistently on stage.
Every performance is different, and dependable equipment allows me to concentrate on the interaction between the musicians, the audience, and the music rather than the equipment itself.

WHY THIS GEAR?
Great gear doesn’t make a great player, but it can inspire great performances. Every piece of equipment I use has been chosen because it helps me express the music naturally and honestly.
I’m always searching for warm, articulate tones with plenty of dynamic range, allowing every note to sing whether I’m playing delicate melodic passages or driving lead lines. My goal is to create a sound that is expressive, musical, and true to the spirit of the songs rather than relying on excessive effects or volume.
The guitars, amplifiers, and pedals I use work together to deliver the clarity, sustain, and touch sensitivity that let me focus on what matters most, playing with feel, communicating with the band, and connecting with the audience. Every choice is made with one purpose in mind: serving the music.
Whether performing a soaring lead, a harmonized melody, or a subtle rhythm part, I want my gear to disappear and allow the emotion of the performance to come through. If the audience is focused on the music instead of the equipment, then I’ve chosen the right gear.
