Lefty Hathaway is a piano player, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and all-around performer. Born in the UK in the late 70’s, Lefty moved around quite a bit and has spent most of his life in and around the U.S. He has played with many different outfits ranging from blues, jazz fusion, rock, pop, reggae, country, bluegrass, and more. He will tell anyone who asks that his biggest influences are; Leon Russell, JJ Cale, Dr. John, The Meters, Bill Withers, Frank Zappa, Fela Kuti, Allen Toussaint, Stevie Wonder, and many other artists from Motown, London Sound, and even the jam band hippy counterculture that brought forth great touring bands like Little Feat, Grateful Dead, and the Allman Brothers. Lefty is known for his organ and piano playing style as well as his gruff rhythmic vocals. Anchoring the Brothers After All band, he envelopes and personifies the essence of Allman Brothers music like no other.
Pete Quigley is a South Florida native. He grew up listening to and has been influenced by the music of the 60’s and the 70’s. He picked up a guitar around the age of 17 and has been playing ever since.
In 1979, Pete lived in Southern California. Where he was exposed to the west coast blues culture and enjoyed playing the music generated in Southern California. He performed in several bands and recorded original music during this time. It was here that Pete discovered his passion for vintage instruments. He truly enjoys seeking them out, playing and collecting them.
Recognized as a masterful guitarist, Pete has had the opportunity to meet and perform with many of his musical hero’s and influences. Playing with such greats as the Allman Brothers Band, Delany Bramlett, The Toller Brothers Band, and members of Los Lobos just to name a few.
Over the last 25 plus years, Pete has been playing with the Shakers, and the Ezy Ryders, two of Florida Treasure Coast’s most popular and favorite bands. Pete has been a member of several tribute bands over the years including The Almost Brothers band, The Mushroom Brotherhood, and The Band Last Waltz tribute. Joining the Brothers After All band as a founding member, he brings the authentic guitar sound and true essence of the Allman Brothers to the band.
Kevin began playing guitar as a young child influenced by many Florida based Southern Rock bands. He became deeply immersed in the rich southern blues guitar styles and traditions. As an avid fan of the Allman Brothers, his guitar technique and soloing style is heavily influenced by Dickey Betts.
Kevin has been a staple in the Southern Florida music scene for decades. Where he has carved out a reputation as an authentic, soulful, and true professional. Kevin has performed with many of Florida Treasure Coast’s popular acts including Elixir, Up All Night, the Coconut Heads, Crossbone, and Big Pine Band.
As a sound engineer, Kevin toured with numerous national recording artists in the 90’s.
Kevin has shared the stage with Davie Jones of the Monkeys, Dave Hlubek of Molly Hatchet, Sam Crutchfield, The Turtles, Tinsley Ellis, 38 Special, Mike Grayson, Michael Allman, Jack Starr of Virgin Steele and Burnin Starr, and Patrick Johansen of Yngwie Malmsteen.
Kevin’s guitar slinging style has earned him a prime spot in the Brothers After All band, as he personifies the style and essence of Dickey Betts!
Will is a Florida native from Vero Beach. He has been playing bass guitar for over 20 years throughout the Florida music scene. His playing style spans multiple genres including funk, rock, fusion, pop, jazz, blues, and bluegrass. His greatest musical influence is Oteil Burbridge as well as Berry Oakley and Jaco Pastorius. His passion for music and bass playing is obvious and showcased when he performs. He is perpetually motivated and continues to strive to progress his talent for playing the bass and become the consummate musician and has recorded on multiple albums in many genres of music. With a deep admiration for the music of the Allman Brothers Band coupled with his soulful playing style, Will is the perfect fit for the “Brothers After All” band.
Originally from Connecticut, Mike began studying the drums at age 8. At age 10 he quickly progresses from snare drum rudiments to drum set reading and performance. Over the next 2 years he focused on Jazz, Rock, and Blues styles of playing. He first performed in front of an audience at age 12. Mike later discovered his interest in both pop and progressive music, adding these genres into his studies and incorporating them to hone his craft. He was introduced to piano, music theory, ear training, and orchestral percussion at the School of Creative Music. Mike tended bar and performed with local musicians while attending Central University. Perfecting his drum technique along the way. Around 1990, he became a Certified Electronic Technician. Relocating to Southern Florida in 2004, he managed a large music store. Inserting himself into the musical scene, Mike connected with the various top level musicians in the area. He became a full-time musician in 2010 and has played with almost every major band and at every major venue in South Florida. If you have witnessed a live band in the area, chances are that you have heard Mike play. Heavily influenced by numerous Southern Rock bands, his style and talent make him the percussive anchor of the Brothers After All band.
Hosny is the Arabic name for “Excellence” and “Hoz” is just that! Hosny is a classically trained musician from Miami, Florida. His passion for music was evident at a young age. Influenced by gospel music and Salvation Army brass he began playing the drums in church at the age of 4 and later learn to play the bass guitar and the trombone.
Hoz attended Indian River State College majoring in music. Serving as the main drummer for the top jazz band. He received a full scholarship to the Musicians Institute studying many genres and aspects of drumming and bass playing. His range of styles includes Jazz, Fusion, Latin, Gospel, R&B, Hip-Hop. While in California, Hoz performed with many local Los Angeles artists including Cheyenne Melton, Anna Beatriz, SuVi, and Nyla. Upon returning to Port Saint Lucie, FL he attended UCF to major in jazz studies under Professor Jeff Rupert and Marty Morell and perform with the UCF Flying Horse Big Band. He toured as the drum technician for Henry McDaniel IV, drummer with Hip Hop artist Big Sean. He successfully completed two national tours filling the drum seat for platinum Hip Hop artist Rod Wave.
Hosny’s playing ability and style is the perfect fit to complete the percussive section of Brothers After All band.
Born and raised in the Bronx, New York. Mitch began playing the drums at age 12, he began performing professionally at 14. Influences; Gene Krupa, Ringo Starr, Buddy Rich, Ginger Baker, John Bonham, Ray Cooper, Marc Quinones, and Nate Werth.
His energetic and diverse style of playing allowed him to become highly successful as driving force behind numerous New York City bands, a studio player and recording artist throughout the late 1970’s and early 1980’s. Mitch joined the U.S. Navy in 1985 and retired in 2011. He formed several Navy bands and has performed in many countries around the world. Returning to the New York music scene as a percussionist in New York with great success. Upon relocating to Florida in 2014, Mitch quickly became one of Florida’s premier percussionists, performing at many venues within the southern states.
A lifelong admirer of the Allman Brothers Band, Mitch assembled this talented group of accomplished musicians to form the ”Brothers After All” band, the ultimate Tribute to the Allman Brothers.
